i poured over time magazine's sep 8-15 2014 edition article "who we are" and put together this spreadsheet on the results from their poll.
i found the statistics quite fascinating.. most people would say that "money doesn't buy happiness", but this poll seems to me to indicate the exact opposite of that.
it also correlates education levels with higher earning that result in that happiness.

it is more complicated than that. That's like saying a girl working on minimum wage would be happier as a prostitute.
Making money and having money are different questions.
Even in my culture, a nurse on a minimum wage,can have a more meaningful life, and be happier than someone earning obscene money.

Was he ever in a concentration camp, as his first book " night" claims?
To answer that question all he needs do is show his tatoo with the numbers he claims are his. That he will not do so. Film has shown he he doesn't even have a tatoo on his arm.
In my opinion he can't hide behind his reputation and power, he should show his tatoo and number. He refuses to do so.
Two:-Grey Owl, Canadas greatest conversationist was never an Indian at all, but grew up in a seaside town in west sussex.I think this makes the story interesting, that his books are important,but his leagacy is his books were withdrawn and replaced by his real name.

as a kid growing up in the uk we used to play 'cowboys and indians' and watch high chaparal and bonanza along with other cowboy films.
later, in the 70's kung fu would be shown with caine going through the 'old west'.
we even had a chocolate bar that was marketed with a 'cowboy' theme...milky bar.. as far as i know the 'wild west' as shown on tvdidn't actually exist.. are there people that believe it did?.

Tom Mix. I read a great book " Tom Mix died for my sins".A great read if still available on Amazon, buy it.( fiction based on facts)

As for chatactor actors that were never stats that list is the most impressive, and is endless.
Now the same is true with Rawhide ( The main star being clint Eatwood) . This was authentic in that it was based on a cattle drive.Or take Gunsmoke, it starred a prostitute, and the charactors of Chester and Festis were the most wonderful charactors that make life in an era humun.
But most importantly, T.V wessterns had great scripts, brilliant acting, beautiful music and were great entertsinment. Star treck was a western set in space which allowed the stars to die and come back to life) Wete they authentic, to the real west? I think the real " wild west" has been exaggerated with out the use of T,V.
A friend of mine, left the U.K couldn,t get a job, but wrote a book on the virginian. This was a teal accomplishment, he had to contact Frank Price the former producet of the show, and ex head of universal. Frank in his seventies contributed greatly to the book, and got Paul in tpuch with all the former cast. See there are nice people in the world.

So as we are on page Two, for those don't read page one...my O.P. is forgetting the bad exsperiences of leaving the W.T, what are the good things not including beer, football,sex, love and friendship.
For those that read page one, i hope we agree the blue pill was better than the red. ( You see leaving the W.T doesn't make freedom, it is what we do with that freedom that makes us free)
